Booking a ride:
Before riding, you will be required to sign a form stating the following: “I accept full personal responsibility for any injury or damage that might occur to me while riding or attending horses provided by Horse Affairs. I am an experienced rider and recognise the dangers inherent in riding and working with horses. I accept that neither Horse Affairs nor any of its ride escorts, have any legal liability towards me in the event of an accident and I hereby grant them an indemnification against any such claim should I be involved in an accident. I am not suffering from any medical conditions that would make me unfit to ride.” We expect you to come with suitable footwear, boots or shoes with a heel, but no gumboats, and a riding hat. We recommend chaps and gloves, all weather clothing and suncream. We have saddle bags for a few belongings. If you don't have any of the above we may be able to help you or out if you mail what you don't have in advance. When you have completed the booking form please send a cheque for 25% of the ride made payable to Horse Affairs c/o 1 Hill House Cottages, Dunmow Road, Great Bardfield, Braintree, Essex CM7 4SB.
